• What if we could look back to that "Morning at the Narrows"?
Legacy
©B.O'Grady, 2007 The painting "Morning at the Narrows", by B. O'Grady, was made to commemorate
the 90th Anniversary of the Halifax Explosion. The idea of the painting is to take us back
to the moments just before the Mont-Blanc exploded. We see a few children curiously
watching the fire, and the barrels of benzol exploding from the deck.
History has recorded the next moment.
